Hotel La Roya

Hotel La Roya has 11 guest rooms and 15 Suites, all of which have air conditioning and are bright and contemporary in style. The rooms have mountain, garden, village or sea views and all are equipped with an TV, safe, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, en suite bathroom, balcony and WiFi access. The suites (on request) feature a double bedroom, stylish living room with sofa bed, beautiful sea or mountain views and a spacious bathroom with bath or shower. 

There is a daily buffet breakfast with local delicacies but guests also have the option of having breakfast in their room (extra cost). A light lunch is served in the hotel (extra cost).

The gourmet restaurant La Table de la Roya (opening date TBC, extra cost) where the Chef will create local specialities and international cuisine using Corsican produce. From subtle notes to intense aromas, the chefs will offer innovative cuisine on the seafront with a striking view of the Gulf of Saint Florent, the pearl of Cap Corse.

The hotel bar is open throughout the day and serves a range of beverages and cocktails which can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the garden.

There is a 24 hour reception service to welcome guests and help with hotel and local information.  There is also complimentary WiFi access and car parking. 

In the gardens is a swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and there is a path with direct access to a sandy beach.  There is also a fitness centre in the middle of the garden with panoramic view of the gardens and out to sea.

The hotel operates its own boat trips (extra cost) to a number of the most beautiful parts of Corsica including the famous Saleccia and Lodo beaches. 

Often referred to as the ‘St Tropez of Corsica’, with the marina playing host to some very impressive motor yachts, St Florent retains its overriding quaintness and authenticity. Life revolves around the small Place des Portes, flanked by cafés and bars and being the venue for many games of pétanque amongst the locals. The variety offered by the numerous restaurants lining the marina is also a major draw and the cafés and bars around the rest of the town come alive during the evening.

The town’s harbour is also the departure point for the regular Popeye taxi-boat to the amazing beaches of Saleccia and Lodo and, with its own small citadel, St Florent as a relaxing place to wander around. In addition, the impressive 12 ^th century Cathédrale de Nebbio with the mummified body of St Florent on the edge of the town is the second most visited building in Corsica.

It is possible to walk to St Florent from the hotel along the sandy beach.
