Hotel Bartaccia has 56 contemporary guest rooms and suites on the ground or first floor (some accessed by a lift) with colourful décor.  All the rooms have en suite shower or bath room, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, WiFi, safe, minibar, hairdryer, coffee machine and terrace with garden or sea view. For guests staying with infants a bottle warmer, changing mat and baby bath can be provided in the room (on request).

Mezzanine Suite Sea View(38m ² , sleeping up to 2 adults and 2 children) the main floor has a living area with sofa bed and TV, shower room and terrace with a sea view. Upstairs there is double/twin beds and a second flat-screen TV and minibar. Nespresso coffee machine and kettle provided.

Situated on a terrace overlooking the gardens is the restaurant ‘U Spuntinu’ where a sumptuous and varied buffet breakfast includes pastries, bread, yoghurts, fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, cheese, cold meat, fruit juices, hot beverages and selection of jam and honey.

The Chef's special dinner menu is served which changes daily and includes a starter, main course, and dessert using local produce and including Mediterranean specialities. Some evenings feature musical entertainment.

The hotel has 3 bars; an intimate indoor bar, pool house bar and spa bar open 11am - 11pm seasonally where guests can relax and enjoy a refreshing variety of drinks and cocktails with live music (July and August).

The hotel is set in lovely Mediterranean gardens with lawned areas with deck chairs adjacent to the pools. There are two swimming pools (both heated except in July and August, only one open in March, both close at the end of October) and a hot tub, one pool has a terrace with poolside bar and tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the view, the other is immersed in the Mediterranean gardens.

There is an innovative Spa Bar where guests can relax in the outdoor whirlpool heated to 36°C. The spa bar has a bench seat and stools built into the water.

The reception offers both hotel and local information and can book excursions. The hotel is 950m from the centre of town and port of Propriano and 250m from Sampiero beach.

Water skiing, kayaking, sailing, snorkelling and hiking/biking trails are available locally.

Located mid-way between Bonifacio and Ajaccio and originally founded in 1640 by the Genoese at the innermost point of the Gulf of Valinco, Propriano has evolved into a busy town, port and pleasure marina, surrounded by maquis covered hills fronting by stunning turquoise sea. Palm trees fringe the charming quayside with its inviting pavement cafés, bars and restaurants.  

There are numerous beautiful sandy bays and rocky coves to visit nearby such as at Porto Pollo, Abbartello, Cappicciolo and Campomoro. The pre-historic site of Filitosa along with its menhirs and dolmen are only a short drive away and Sartène ‘the most Corsican of Corsican towns’ is 13km to the south east.
