There are 25 studio and one bedroom apartments (sleeping 2/4) arranged on 3 floors accessed via a lift.  They all have air conditioning, TV and well equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave along with kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, dining table and chairs.

The shower room provides shower gel, shampoo and soap from the Corsican organic cosmetics brand Casanera. Bed linen is provided including sheets, pillowcases, duvets, pillows, blankets, etc. plus bath towels, pool towels and table linen. A change of towels and kitchen linen will be made mid-week and there will be a complete change of household linen in the middle of a 2 week stay. End of stay cleaning is included in the price, daily cleaning is on request (extra cost). Cot and high chairs are available on request.

One Bedroom Apartment – Sea View(47sqm / sleeps 1-4 + infant) Sea views from the large furnished shaded terrace. There is air conditioning in the living room and bedroom and it is furnished by Roche Bobois. The bedroom has queen size bed (160cm x 200cm), the living room has a convertible sofa bed (160cm x 198 cm) with well equipped kitchen and there is a modern shower room.

Luxury 1 Bedroom Apartment – Sea View(45sqm / sleeps 1-4 + infant) Sea views from the large furnished terrace with private jacuzzi. There is air conditioning in the living room and bedroom and it is furnished by Roche Bobois. The bedroom has queen size bed (160cm x 200cm), the living room has a convertible sofa bed(160cm x 198 cm) with a well equipped kitchen and there is a modern shower room.

Résidence Saletta Mare has complimentary WiFi, private secure parking and there is also an on-site laundry with washers and dryers (local cost).  

There is a shared freshwater infinity swimming pool (heated April, May & October) with a sea facing terrace and sunbeds. 

The residence also offers a bread/patisserie delivery service (on request, extra cost) and there is a breakfast area and bar (only open in high season) and self-service coffee & tea. Breakfast is on request (extra cost).

Situated opposite L'Ile Rousse beach with restaurants nearby, it is about 500m to the town with great selection of shops, market, café bars and restaurants. There is also a variety of activities available locally including boat and jet ski rental, wakeboarding or water skiing, scuba diving, sailing, boat trips, quad biking, segways and hiking.

Résidence Saletta Mare is situated close to the beach to the east of L'Île Rousse town on the north coast of Corsica, 23km from Calvi and 73km from Bastia. L’Île Rousse boasts 4 beaches with golden sand and gently sloping azure sea, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and for younger children to paddle. 

It is about 500m level walk along the beach or road to the town with a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafés to suit all tastes and budgets. There is also a coastal train that connects L’Île Rousse with Calvi in the west and Corte to the south east allowing guests without car hire to still be able to explore the beautiful local area.

For those with a hire car, the apricot-coloured granite buildings of the numerous little villages of La Balagne are only a short drive away, where visitors can immerse themselves in the calm, relaxed way of life of the locals and enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside down to the crystal blue sea beyond.

L'Île Rousse was named after the red granite islets now linked to the town by a causeway built by Pasquale Paoli when he created the port in 1758. Whilst architecturally being more reminiscent of buildings found in southern France, this beautiful town still retains an authentic Corsican atmosphere.

A pleasant evening pastime is to sit beneath the plane trees and date palms in the central square, Place Paoli, with an aperitif or a coffee, watching the evening pétanque games taking place and listening to the locals chatting in the island’s own language ‘Corsu’.

There is a small, bustling market on the edge of the square where a wide variety of fresh Corsican produce can be purchased. This is one of the warmest towns on the island, enjoying the shelter of an amphitheatre of the Balagne hills and gently sloping sandy beaches, making it a very popular holiday destination.
