There is the choice of bungalow style Garden rooms, Sea view rooms on the upper floors (including interconnecting rooms), Garden or Sea view Junior Suites and Suites on the top floor with wonderful views of Calvi citadel and bay.  

All the rooms are decorated in a blend of traditional and contemporary designs and colours and have air conditioning, balcony or terrace with a garden or sea view, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi and en suite shower room. Upper floor rooms and suites have balcony furniture provided. 

Standard(12-14m ² , sleeping 2) or Superior Garden Rooms(23m ² , sleeping 2 + cot) double room with en suite shower room.

Sea View(15m ² , sleeping 2) located on the upper floor with view of the garden, the citadel and the bay of Calvi.

Junior Suite Garden or Junior Suite Sea View  (28m ² , sleeping up to 2 adults and 2 children under 14 years old) double room with 2 single sofa beds on the ground floor with garden view or first floor with sea and citadel view from balcony.

Suite Sea View  (40m ² , sleeping 2) double room with a large terrace and a breathtaking view of the citadel, the bay of Calvi and the village of Lumio.

The hotel is available on a B&B only basis, with a buffet breakfast served when possible on the al fresco terrace. There is a small bar that serves drinks. Marco Plage beach restaurant serves lunch and sunbeds and parasols can also be hired (all extra cost).

The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Calvi where there is a wide range of bars, cafés and restaurants. 

Whilst the hotel does not have a swimming pool, it is located less than 100m from the shallow, clear waters of the superb Calvi beach. The reserved section of Calvi beach adjacent to the affiliated Marco Plage restaurant is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and towels, all of which can be pre-booked with the hotel reception.

The hotel is also able to arrange boat trips, a variety of excursions and a number of other activities such as horse riding and watersports (all extra cost). An electric car charging station is available for guests.

Hotel La Caravelle boasts an enviable position being very close to the beach but also only a short walk to Calvi town, marina and its historic citadel, an imposing landmark that dominates the town. 

Originally a small fishing port, Calvi has always been a historically significant town and, having once been occupied by the Genoese, is reputed to be the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. The town features a selection of excellent bars, restaurants and cafés as well as an idyllic 6.5km sandy beach next to the cosmopolitan marina and overlooked by the old town. 

With its gently shelving sands, turquoise waters and fantastic position, the beach is widely considered to be one of the most picturesque on the island yet is rarely busy outside of the high season.  A magnet for opulent yachts and their well-heeled owners, Calvi is one of the most popular tourist towns on the island.
