Hotel Le Roi Theodore

The spacious guest rooms and suites are arranged on two floors around the pools. They have modern décor and furnishings and are equipped with en suite shower or bath room with bathrobes, slippers and hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, telephone, flat screen TV, safe, minibar and courtesy tray. 

Comfort Room (28m ² , sleeping 2 adults and 1 child) double/twin bedroom on the first floor and an open plan lounge area with sofa bed (suitable for a child under 11 years old).

Superior rooms (28m ² , sleeping 2 adults and 1 child) double/twin bedroom on the ground floor with a terrace and a lounge area that can accommodate a child under 11 years old on a sofa bed.

Single Room  (15m ² , sleeping 1) these two rooms are specifically for single travellers, located on the first floor with a terrace overlooking the gardens.

Suite  (35-55m ² , sleeping up to 3) located on the first floor and feature a large shower room (hydro massage bath on request), dressing room, living room and some have a little terrace overlooking the gardens and pools. Extra facilities include espresso coffee machine, DVD player and a selection of movies. Some can accommodate a child/extra person on the sofa bed in the living area.

La Table du Roi restaurant has a lovely terrace by the pool and offers an extensive buffet breakfast and gastronomic a la carte dinner with Mediterranean cuisine.

There is a pool bar and for lunch an Italian inspired restaurant Le Regina is open 12-2.30pm.

Please note: Restaurants are closed on Mondays.

In the centre of the hotel there are 2 lovely swimming pools, one with children’s pool, and sun terrace with sun loungers and gazebo’s for shade. The peaceful gardens offer an oasis for relaxation.

The reception offers hotel and local information, room service, laundry services, library for guests use and are happy to make dinner reservations and book excursions including canyoning and watersports. There is a shuttle service between the hotel, the town, the surrounding beaches and Bonifacio (extra cost) and electrically assisted bikes to hire (extra cost, book locally in advance). Watersports are available locally (extra cost).

The hotel has a secure car park from which guests can directly access the rooms. 

Please note: Le Roi Theodore may not  be suitable for those with walking difficulties due to many steps throughout the hotel and grounds.

Recharge your batteries in the spa with the beneficial warmth of the Hamman and jacuzzi plus facial/body treatments and massages. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool and a mini gym (9am-8pm).

The Spa facilities are all extra cost.

Hôtel Le Roi Théodore is situated on the outskirts of Porto Vecchio, 1km from a shopping centre and hypermarket, 6km from the marina and a similar distance up to the old town. The beautiful beach of Saint Cyprien is 7km away and Pinerello is 13km to the north.  The equally stunning beaches of Palombaggia and Santa Giulia are approximately 16km to the south with the dramatic port of Bonifacio 35km.

Porto Vecchio has two sections: the old town with a vibrant buzz in the summer months with numerous shops, cafés and restaurants up on the hilltop; Below, the marina is lined with restaurants and home to impressive yachts. With its reputation for being the liveliest town on the island and spectacular beaches within easy reach, visitors have included Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni, Kate Moss, Lewis Hamilton and Paris Hilton. The town was the starting point for the 2013 Tour de France and consequently attracts keen cyclists from far and wide. 

Zonza is 40km away situated in the heart of the Alta Rocca mountains. It is popular with walkers and those seeking a typical Corsican village, away from the hustle and bustle of seaside towns. It is on the edge of the Rizzanese valley in the heart of the Ospédale forest and overlooked by stunning granite shards of Needles of Bavella, offering a superb opportunity to sample a more remote part of the island.
