Hotel San Lucianu

Arranged over 3 floors accessed by a lift, the recently refurbished guest rooms and suites are bright and spacious and most have a balcony with sea or mountain views. All the rooms have double or twin beds, air conditioning, en suite shower room, TV, free WiFi, safe and minibar. There are some interconnecting rooms ideal for families and the possibility of an extra bed (for a child up to 12 years) and a cot.

Superior Mountain View Room(25m ² ) on the third floor similar to the Standard rooms but with a superior view of the mountains. Possibility of adding an extra bed for child up to 12 years old.

Superior Sea View Room(25m ² ) on the third floor similar to the Standard rooms but with a superior sea and park view. Possibility of adding an extra bed for child up to 12 years old.

Suite(50m ² ) on the third floor with master bedroom, living room with a sofa bed, walk-in shower and 2 sea view balconies. 

The restaurant and bar "A Muredda"   has a large sea-facing terrace ideal to relax and enjoy a drink and the menu offers local cuisine with Mediterranean flavours and a local wine list.

There is a daily buffet-style breakfast with a wide choice of drinks, seasonal products and cold meats, along with pastries and local delicacies. Located in the gardens, the beach bar serves light lunches serving Cesar salads, grilled fish, burgers, fresh pastries, ice cream and a selection of old drinks and cocktails (mid June-mid September, extra cost).

In the evening, dinner is served at the table and there are 1-2 buffets per week in July / August showcasing the Chef's cuisine with an array of Mediterranean dishes and Corse specialities in A Muredda and the beach bar.

Hotel San Lucianu is located in the heart of a 3 hectare park fronted by a long sand beach with a few watersports available (paddle boards and kayaks), or simply relax in the shade of eucalyptus trees facing the sea.
 
There is an outdoor swimming pool (unheated, 25m x 8m, depth 1.20m) situated close to the hotel with a terrace and sunbeds for relaxation. 
 
Activities available include tennis, cycling, yoga/Pilates, beach volleyball, ping pong and petanque and there are hiking trails nearby. Some activities (hiking, mountain biking, canyoning and cultural visits) are in partnership with Loisirs Nature Corse with local guides to share with you the riches of the Costa Verde and Corsica (depending on the time of year, extra cost).
 
In high season, there are some children’s activities for a couple of hours on some days of the week.
 
There is a spa therapist offering à la carte massages as well as beauty treatments and hairdressing (all extra cost). 
 
Please note: Some activities (gym, Pilates and children's entertainment) are available only in July and August. 

San Lucianu is walking distance (1.5km) of Moriani Plage, a charming small town set behind a long beach with a range of shops, café bars and restaurants which are buzzing in high season. It is situated in the fertile Costa Verde region of the island with the surrounding fields being full of fruit trees and vines. There are various watersports available on the beach and there are numerous walking trails in the area.
 
It is only a short drive from the beautiful mountains and dense chestnut forests of the Castagniccia area with enchanting historic villages including San Nicolao (4km), San Giovanni di Moriani (10km) with an excellent restaurant and Cervione (12km) the largest village of the Castagniccia with one of the first Baroque churches in Corsica.
 
Moriani Plage is the gateway to Corse du Sud with the historic towns of Aléria (30km) and Solenzara (60km).
 
It is also just 26km south of the cosmopolitan town of Bastia with walled Genoese citadel and surrounded by history from the architecture of the buildings, the cobbled streets and the Palais des Gouverneurs Museum. Points of interest include the wonderfully restored Sainte Marie Cathedral located in the enchanting old town which abuts the beautiful French-style old port with surrounding colourful painted buildings and choice of bars and restaurants from which to watch the comings and goings of the local fishermen. On the northern edge of the old town is Place Saint Nicholas, the focal point of Bastia, lined with more than twenty bars & cafés and next to Boulevard Paoli where there is large number of boutiques and larger shops to visit.
