The property is arranged in a ‘U’ shape vertically with the central ground floor portion being the reception, bar and lounge (where breakfast is served) with a small terrace to the front and the spa. On the first floor above this is the swimming pool and terrace with a further bar.
The Loria Bar has a lounge and outdoor terrace where a breakfast buffet is served daily, rich in flavours with home-made cuisine based on fresh, local and seasonal products. From morning to night, guests can enjoy brunch, lunch or coffee or enjoy drinks and cocktails whilst relaxing in the bar lounge and on the terrace. (Please note: There is no restaurant in the hotel due to the proximity to the array of restaurants, cafés and bars within a 5 minute walk.)
Above the Loria Bar on the first floor is the swimming pool terrace with a view over Calvi bay and the citadel above. The superb infinity pool is surrounded by contemporary rattan furniture and sunbeds with pergola frames for shade. The bar offers a range of snacks and drinks, the atmosphere changing according to the mood and the time of day.
The Casanera Spa, wellness and fitness area with complimentary access for the hotel guests is equipped with a hammam, sauna and gym with Water Rower solid wood equipment. There are also two rooms for massage and beauty treatments (extra cost).
The reception offers guests hotel and local information plus laundry service, room service and babysitting (all extra cost). There is underground car parking available for guests (one car per booking).
Hotel Kasano is set back from the seafront in an elevated position yet just 100m from the shops and restaurants in Calvi town centre and Quai Landry marina. It is just 50m walk to the historic citadel, an imposing landmark that dominates the town and around 300m walk up to the top where there are amazing 360° panoramic views. The walk to the beach beyond the marina is approximately 900m. ( Please note:

Originally a small fishing port, Calvi has always been a historically significant town, having been occupied by the Genoese who built the town’s impressive citadel and was host to the Siege of Calvi in which Horatio Nelson lost an eye. It is also reputed to be the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.
The town has an excellent selection of café bars and restaurants as well as a long sandy beach stretching 6.5km from the cosmopolitan marina and overlooked by the old town. With its gently shelving sands, turquoise waters and fantastic position, the beach is widely considered to be one of the most picturesque on the island yet is rarely busy outside high season. A magnet for opulent yachts and their well-heeled owners, Calvi is one of the most popular tourist towns on the island.
The coastal railway connects Calvi with the village of Algajola and historic town of L’Ile Rousse eastwards along the north coast, offering guests the chance to explore the local area without needing a hire car. For the more adventurous, the tourist train also connects with Corte, the ancient capital of Corsica, and also the larger towns of Bastia and Ajaccio.
For those with a hire car, the tranquil villages in the La Balagne countryside set in the surrounding hills offer the opportunity to experience the unspoilt beauty of the backdrop to Calvi. Further inland, amongst Laricio pines, chestnuts and holm oaks of the Fango and Bonifatu forests, there are walking routes to suit all levels of ability.
Calvi also offers boat trips to the nearby Scandola Nature Reserve and there are range of excursions available to see more of the island.
